Adam "Addi" Robert (born 5, July 1994) is a Guernsey football player who currently plays for Guernsey United F.C. and also plays for the Guernsey Special Olympics Football Team. Addi was born in Guernsey, Channel Islands. He is allowed to represent any of the home Home Nations (England, Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland) because he was born in the Channel Islands.

Early Career

Robert started playing club football for the Le Murier B team with team-mates Nick Morfett and Michael Guille. He then moved up to the Le Murier first team playing 124 games and scoring 253 goals making him one of the highest scoring players to have ever played for Le Murier. After playing for Le Murier Addi moved to Rovers AC playing 19 games but scored no goals.
Present Career

After playing for Rovers for a full season Addi left in 2011 and had a years rest before signing for Belgrave Wanderers FC and playing in nearly every game. After he left Belgrave Addi signed for D.C. United which is was newly formed club which he helped form and was Team Captain. In 2013 after D.C. United dissolved Addi signed for Guernsey United F.C., which he currently plays as a Midfielder/Forward and wears the No.7 shirt.
International Career

Addi Robert has not played for the Guernsey National Team but does play for the Guernsey Special Olympics Football Team. Also choosing to represent the Netherlands. Addi is also elegible to play for England through his fiancé being English or through him being born in the UK.
Personal Life

Addi is a supporter of Arsenal and Manchester City, his favourite national teams are Canada, Wales, Spain, and England. Two of Addi's favourite players are Robin van Persie, and Dwayne De Rosario. Addi is currently engaged to Paramedic Lauren Brehaut.

Strengths: Addi is a confident player who likes to take charge and does so efficiently, Addi talks and commands his players like any great Captain should, Addi gets on with all his team and treats everyone fairly, Addi has good speed beating defenders and getting the important shot or pass which will end up with the ball in the back of the net.
Weaknesses: Addi can get easily frustrated, Addi has problems sometimes with injuries the worst being his tight chest and weak leg tendons, Addi is not good at direct spot-kicks (Penalties, Direct Free-kicks) but is great at delivering and passing from corners and Indirect Free-kicks.
Career High: Representing Guernsey in Gran Canaria in which Guernsey Special Olympics got to the Quarter-Finals and came third.
Career Low: Not being able to represent Guernsey in the 2013 Special Olympics because of rule changes he was not elegible to play.
Style: Strong presence up front, Speedy, Confident, Agile, Passer, Goalscorer.
Trivia: Addis favourite boots are the Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII FG, Addis favourite players is Dwayne De Rosario who plays for DC United (MLS) and Canada and Robin Van Persie who plays for Addis favourite team Arsenal and for Holland. Addis favourite number is 7 and is the number he wears on his kit, the reason is that De Rosario wears that number when playing for DC United (MLS) and Canada.
