James Steven Harrison (born 6 February 1996) is an English professional footballer. He currently plays for Premier League side Burton Swifts, he is the clubs captain, all time top scorer and record appearance holder. He was manager of the Swifts from their re-formation until 2012 following their promotion to the football league. Harrison stated he would take charge of the side until the got into the earnt promotion until the football league then he would step down.
Harrison has represented England 86 times, from 2012 he was appointed captain he has been capped 78 times as captain. Harrison became the third England international to net 50 international goals after Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen. After Rooney reached 50 in 2012, Owen also reached 50 in 2012, Harrison got to 50 in 2013. Harrison has now notched up 108 goals for England the current record.

Burton Swifts

Harrison first appeared for Burton Swifts in 2009 where he netted 6 goals for the Swifts in a 17-0 win over Tiverton Town. Harrison has know netted 714 goals in just 438 appearances for the Swifts which earnt him his 46 caps for England. As well as this he also earnt 16 caps and 17 goals for England U21. Harrison has always had the number 7. After reaching his 500th club goal, Swifts chairman Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani stated only Harrison's children will ever wear the number 7 for the club.
Harrison famously netted 12 times in a 37-1 club record win over Stockport County F.C., team mate Andrew Collins netted 10 goals. He is currently in a run of 438 consecutive club appearances. In the 2011-12 season, Harrison netted a club record 103 goals. He also netted 61 in the league that season and he netted 61 goals in 2013-14. He scored the clubs second fastest goal at 7.5 seconds against Tiverton Town in the 17-0 win it was the fastest until Andy Geake netted in 7.4 seconds against Steaua Bucharest. He also holds the record for fatest hat-trick when he netted 3 times in 1 minute 52 seconds against UD Almeria, he has also netted 133 hat-tricks.
Colorado Rapids

After finding out his descendents came from Denver, Colorado, Harrison decided to go on loan to Colorado Rapids in pre-season. He made 6 appearances smashing in a fantastic 21 goals. He scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 win over Portland Timbers in the Semi-Finals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. He then netted four times in the 7-3 win over LA Galaxy in the US Cup final, Harrison's Colorado team-mate Conor Casey hit a hat-trick and former Everton striker Landon Donovan also scored a hat-trick but for LA Galaxy. He announced himself in the MLS by netting six times in an 9-0 win over DC United. He netted four in the next match, a 7-0 win over Portland Timbers. He then netted the winner in a 3-2 win over Real Salt Lake. Harrison's final match was against Philadelphia Union in which Harrison netted a 3 and a half minute hat-trick. In four MLS games he netted 14 goals and finished 2nd top scorer.

Harrison has been known to have dated many famous faces since becoming a footballer. In May 2009 he was in a relationship with Una Healy of The Saturdays he also dated Mollie King also of The Saturdays. He also dated Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. He also dated ANT Farm star Stefanie Scott. He is married to American actress Ashlynn Brooke. Harrison has two children a son aged 4 and a 8 month old daughter
Harrison is the older brother of 17 year old Games Designer Matthew Harrison, he is also a proud supporter of Swifts rivals Burton Albion as are quite a few of the Swifts players.
Harrison supports Green Bay Packers rivals Pittsburgh Steelers, this is because his wife supports the Packers. He also supports Manchester United. Harrison owns three dogs, a Great Dane, a Akita Inu and a greyhound. His marriage to Ashlynn Brooke took place in Barbados in front of about 1,200 people. James is the son of Derby County F.C. legend Steven Harrison he is the nephew of Derby legend Kevin Harrison and is grandson of Derby County's number 1 all time player Sir John Harrison.
